Preservation rhinoplasty (PR) is an entirely new philosophy of approach that respects the skin envelope, SMAS, and the complex ligaments and attempts to keep the natural dorsum, modifying it as a hinge by letting it or pushing it down by release at the pyriform aperture radix and with a septal release. Preservation rhinoplasty cadaver course by Dr. Abraham Montes de Oca -Professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the residency program UNAM and director of FACES- is one of our main programs at the i-Face Congress that will be presented to you. This wonderful hands-on course will be held on June 3, 2022, from 10:00-16:00 at the Surgical Lab, and the registration fee is only $ 1,000. Considering the conditions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the limited number of cadavers, and the required arrangement for optimal supervision of the master over all the participants in this course, the capacity of this course is restricted only to 8 people. 9 cadavers have been provided for this course, of which one has been allocated for the master demonstration so that each participant in the hands-on section of the course can independently practice the preservation rhinoplasty technique on a dedicated unshared cadaver under the supervision of the master. Due to the interesting subject of this course, which makes it impossible for all applicants to participate in the hands-on section, measures have been devised so that 20 applicants can watch the demonstrations as a real-time live demo.
